January 18, 2014: Our angel baby Crew would have turned one year old. We celebrated, and it was a good day. I ran my first half marathon and visited Crew's grave . We had hoped to celebrate with a headstone placement party, but his headstone is not finished yet. When I heard this news I may have cried, for a few days, but then Crew came to me (while driving in the car) and reminded me what is important. He told me he doesn't care if he ever gets a headstone, that it is something that marks his grave here on Earth and it does not matter to him whether he gets one or not. He also understood that it is something that is important to me, but remimded me in the whole scheme of things his headstone is not what is important but his memory is what matters most. Happy birthday baby boy! Mommy loves you!
