2 Week Update

Oh where to start??? A few weeks ago I noticed our washer was looking a little uneven and perhaps like it was sinking into the floor so I asked Brandon to look at it. After a few minutes of looking he came back with "I guess I know what I am getting for my birthday," I said, "What?" He said, "A new hot water heater." You guessed it. To make a long few days short we discovered our hot water heather had been leaking for sometime and had flooded water under the lanolium and walls into our master bathroom, closet, our laundry room, and the majority of our kitchen.

We have relocated to the in-laws because we had to shut off the water to entire house because of the leak. We are grateful we have a place to go, but we will shure be glad when the whole repair process is over and it looks like it might be a while because it has not started yet...Boo

The Cali Albresht came to town excluding Weston my big brother. We missed you Weston!

We went to Pirate Island Pizza. Sage was a little freaked out but Chantz and the other kids loved it and as always it was good food and great company.

Friday the girls went to Annie at Tuacahn so Chantz, Jett and I went to Fiesta Fun to play some games and golf. Chantz hit the jackpot on some silly game and won almost 1000 tickets. We had a blast! Thanks Chantz for hangin out with us ;)

Last Friday and Saturday I walked all six kids to the splash pad from Misty's house and I think we had a lot of fun. After a few of them about got hit by a car on the way there and a few other mishaps we all made it there and back in one piece ;) Crazy moms that have six kids under the age of 10...
The majority of the reason we all got together was to have a baby shower for my SIL Megan who is due in December. So Daren and Megan came up from New Mexico and the other Albrechts from Aurora.

Gma Kasea and all the grandaughters... for know...

Lovin on baby Gus. I am a sucker for red-headed-baby boys!
Unfortunatley I did not get a pic of the shower or Meg's cute baby bump but it was fun to visit with them for the short few days and talk parent stuff ;) It is amazing how expecting a little one can change your life and I am glad that Daren is excited about the new baby because he was "Never going to have kids...." And look at him know ;)

I was sad to see it all end but it is always nice to see family!

Wow that super stinks about the flooding. That little Jett is super cute though. Good luck with the repairs.

What a mess! That's horrible. But, like you said, at least you have somewhere to go! Hope the "construction" goes well......

Oh so sorry about the water heater. Yeah it must be so nice to have family to go and stay with. Too bad we can't be there close. Anyways, I also watched 5 kids the other day. I thought it was great. I felt like they watched Makena more than I watched them. By the way, you made me jump a little when I read that Megan was due in DEC. I was like I wish someone would have told me. HE HE
