April Ailments

So this month started out pretty OK with me looking forward to graduation in May and the weather warming up; instead we passed strep throat and other not so fun sicknesses around the family and between the 4 of us we have frequented the doctors office 4 times. In the last week we have been there twice with Brandon and Zane being sick. Last Thursday the boys were staying home with Brandon and I bent down to kiss Zane on his neck to say good bye and I noticed a larger than golf ball sized lump on his throat. Needless, to say instead of going to school we all went to the InstaCare. The doctor said it was a swollen gland due to his nasty ear infection in that ear. He was put on a triple dose of antibiotics and is now feeling and acting much better.



We took Brandon to the InstaCare on Saturday because a strange rash appeared on his ankles and in just a few days started spreading up his legs and onto his feet. The doc said it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotics he was taking for his strep throat.
