Meeting big brother. Jett likes his new brother but is a little rough on him and does not like that Mommy cannot hold him anytime he wants her to now, but all-in-all he thinks he is OK.
Deliver was pretty easy this time around. We had a small scare when we woke up Thursday morning and realized our cell tower was down because of the bad weather and by this time it was already 8:30AM so we packed up the last few things in a hurry and drove to Brandon's parents house who have a landline to call the hospital to see if we had missed their call. Thank goodness we had not missed it, but we stayed at the in-laws so they could call us when it was time, which was nice because we spent a little time with Jett before we left him overnight. They called us around 12:30 and said they were ready.
They finally got the patocin started around 3PM and at 8:30PM I was 6cm dilated and in ALOT of pain they checked me 5 minutes later and I had already progressed to an 8 so they called the doctor and got things ready. I was a 10 in no time and had to keep from pushing so the doctor could get there. I pushed about 4 times and he was out. I did it all without an epidural and it was so awesome!!! I was feeling great almost immediatley afterward and have not had many pain meds since. I am sure my 9 pounder helped this delivery come off like a breeze :)
He was 7 lbs. and 19 inches long. Born Friday January 22nd @ 8:51PM, which makes him and Jett exactly 13 months apart
One last shot of the belly before it was gone.

Congratulations Dayna! That is great- good job on your delivery, I am too scared to not have an epidural! Your little man is super cute- good luck with everything!!
Hooray! I know you have had a lot going on but I have been checking your blog like every 2 hours waiting for this post. What a cutie. I'm glad Jett likes him.
Wow! You are amazing! Congrats on the little bundle of joy. He looks like he's going to be just as cute as his big brother.

What a doll! I'm telling you, NO epidural is the way to go! I felt the very best after Maycee than I did with my other two. And she was BY FAR my biggest baby. Glad you are feeling well, enjoy that sweet baby!
