Yesterday was Jett's 6 month check-up at the doc and surprisingly he has not grown much since his 4 month check-up. He weighs 16lbs. 7.5oz. and is 28" long which puts him in the 34th percentile for his weight and in the 98th percentile for his height. I had to wake him up to go so he was not real happy the whole time we were there, but because he was so tired he slept from 10PM last night to 7AM this morning. It was a well needed night of rest for all of us and today we are doing the fun Saturday activities like cleaning and laundry.
These are some of the things Jett can do so far:
-Roll over from belly to back
-Sit up for about a minute before tipping over
-Loves rice cereal, oatmeal and graham crackers
-Stand-up with little help for several minutes
-Loves to cuddle
-Loves Seal, mostly loves to pull his ears and kick at him
Things Jett can not do yet:
-Pick up small objects like cheerios or raisins
-Roll over from his back to his belly
-Stop sucking his fingers and or thumb (he sucks on his left thumb so much is a chapped and cracking)
-When awake he doesn't stay on his belly for long before he rolls over to his back
We feel so blessed to have him in our home and do not know where we would be without him. We Love You Baby Jett! xxoo

What a cute guy! Maybe he is jealous of Ezra's physique and that's why he is getting long and lean. I can't wait to put the two of them together in real life!
6 months...what...I really can't believe that he is half a year old. He can do so much for a baby...we don't realize how much they start to be able to do themselves and how fast they grow. He is going to be a tall boy.
