Yard Saligans

We had a great weekend. It started off with a sleepover at the Mann's then we got up early Saturday morning to beat the heat and get all the 'good stuff' at the yard sales around town. I went looking for a play mat for Jett and came home with; an office chair, a decorative shelf, a changing table, 4 shirts, and a kid halloween costume all for only $24. I never found a play mat but there is always next Saturday ;)

These pics are of the adventure. Misty found a shoe rack, a fake plant, and bike that she could not pass by so... we sported the Clampet look all through town.
Note: the fake plant is sitting between my legs and poking out the sunroof. We had 3 children in the back seat and Rylan's new bike strapped on top with a 50 cent duffle bag. To top it all off Misty chose one of the busiest streets to travel at noon, the street that runs right in from the STG temple. There were people everywhere and Misty assured me we would not see anyone we knew...just then 'my best college buddie' Kate, walked across the cross walk in front of us. Don't worry she will continue to be my friend next semester because I very discreetly hid behind the fake plant I was straddling. Who needs a store selling brand new items at a higher price when you can have the adventures of yard saling. Stay tuned for "Yard Saligans Part II" to follow next Saturday.

DISCLAIMER: NO CHILDREN WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS ADVENTURE!

Hahaha.. I love it. I'll be the first to admit I can't pass down a good deal. Hooray for saving money.

Yeah...Yard saleing is the best...I love going cause you always seem to find someone else's junk to be your treasure. And for a cheap price...
