Tractor Skills

Saturday was the Cotton Days in Washington City so we went to the festivities. There was a parade, games at the park, and a tractor pull. The tractor pull was the biggest reason we went. I had never been to a tractor pull before and I was afraid it was going to be a little Redneck'ish. Surprisingly it wasn't and I actually had a good time. Brandon's dad has several tractors and Brandon used to work on them when he was a kid so he gets very excited to see all the mechanics that go into making a tractor stronger and durable enough to pull 1-ton+ trailor.

Brandon's nephew Keian came with Gpa Bill to the tractor pull. To entertain the kids they had little pedal tractors so they could have their own tractor pull. They put the kids in groups depending on their weight. Keian won his group...he was also the only one in his group...he just knew he won a pencil and that is all he cared about.

Ghetto!?! Last year before Brandon got in his accident that almost cost him his thumb we decided to till up our front yard, install a sprinkler system, and then plant grass. After his accident Brandon was out of commition for a few months, I got pregnant, and we had a lack of funds so our yard did't get finished...it is still not finished. So instead of looking even more ghetto than we already do we borrowed Gpa Bill's tractor to disk up our weed garden. I got to drive the tractor and it was so much fun I didn't want to stop.

Jett was so good he sat in his carseat on the front porch while we worked in the yard.

He later got to ride the tractor and thought it was pretty cool too!

Ezra is a little talker too, except his is starting to turn more into squeals and screeches. Jett is so adorable. I get a little sad at the things that Ezra won't get to do for a while, like ride a tractor or anything else that requires being out of a bid city!
