Seal's New Pad

As some of you may not know pugs shed ALOT. No matter how much I love my Seal he sheds all over everything and now with the baby being covered in hair I get grossed out. Seal has always slept with us in out bed on top of the blankets which is fine but now we have to put the baby on his blanket on the bed to ensure he does not get covered in shed. So I decided to buy Seal a new bed to see if he would start sleeping in it instead of our bed. Last night he decided to lay in it to try it out and I think he liked it. Then this morning when I got out of the shower he was in it again so hopefully it will be his new favorite spot to collect his hair instead of on my bed.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, sometimes I think we have Koda hair floating in space, but I guess all pets have one flaw. Soon Jett and Seal will be best friends. I was going so give koda away when Carson was born, but I am glad I didn't because they just love to play together now.

Yeah, don't you just love dog hair...not me. Thank goodness that my two little one's don't shed. We have a mud room in back that rhody gets to be in when its too cold to be outside, and somehow her hair gets in the house. Annoying, but we love them anyway.

thank you for your sweet note Dayna! You really seem happy in your new 'shoes' as a mother. I'm really happy for you. Your pictures are adorable....it's always hard for me to tell about babies really look like until about 6 months anyway....so i'll check back...but until then....take care and keep in touch!

you are lucky that seal will actually go in the bed. we had a couple lab mixes and let them sleep with us for awhile. but having 2 labs and 2 adults in one queen bed.. you can imagine how cramped space was. but there was no way they would sleep any where else. now i know!
