We stayed home this year and made the 5 mile drive to the in-laws house for Thanksgiving dinner and the goings-on throughout the weekend. Which was very nice and relaxing. The boys in Brandon's family have a tradition of getting together to play football for the Annual "Turkey Bowl" and usually have a good time. There was only one small injury this year and that was Chris' right pinky. By the next day it had doubled in size and sported great shades of blue and purple, but luckily was not broken. All the girls braved the 40 degree, overcast rainy weather and cheered them on (unfortunately I did get a picture of the cheeerleaders).
There was upwards of 40 people at dinner, we all fit, and had some great food and a good time, thanks to my amazing mother-in-law that is a great hostess and never leaves out any details.
