False Alarm

We made an unsuccessful attempt to Labor and Delivery this afternoon. Around noon I had a lovely STRONG contraction while sitting in Sunday school so I told Brandon we better go home and take it easy. We started to time the contractions and the were 15 minutes apart and I realized that I had not felt Jett move since 10:30AM by the time we got home the contractions were about 6 minutes apart so I took a bath and they stayed the same so I took Seal for a walk to see if that would get things going any faster and sure enough they increased to 4 minutes apart so I told Brandon it was time to go the hospital. We got checked in and hooked up to the monitors and I was still dilated to 2cm. The nurse said she would come back in an hour to check my progression. My contractions were consistantly 3 minutes apart so an hour later she checked me again and still only a 2cm. You know what happened next...THEY SENT ME HOME! The doc said not to go back until my pain is a 7 or 8 on the pain scale. I am dissappointed because we will just have to do it all over again either tonight or tomorrow. Either way we will keep you posted :)
