Headaches?!?!

OK all you mommies or pregnant girls out there I need a little advise on "pregnancy headaches". Did you or do you have them? If so, how did you remedy them? I feel really good being pregnant except these pounding, on the verge of migraine headaches. I feel kind of scared to take so many tylenol in fear that my babe might come out with a tylenol-shaped-head. I know that you are not supposed to have caffeine while you are pregnant and I quit the best thing ever, Diet Coke, when I found out that I was pregnant, but so far that is the only thing I have found that tones down the pain a little. So any tid bits of advise, cure, or success stories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had them SOOOO Bad with Nathan- like every single day. I took Tylenol when they got too unbearable, but they didn't help all that much. So I basically suffered. Don't drink too much Diet Coke- my doc said there are new studies that you really shouldn't have caffenine while pregnant. Hand in there!

I've been lucky and haven't had a problem with headaches. But, I didn't know you weren't supposed to drink caffeine while you are pregnant. I thought you are just supposed to try and keep it to a minimum. I could be wrong though! Well, since I have the understanding that its ok to drink caffeine, I would say drink your diet coke every now and then to get rid of your headaches- if that's the only thing you have found that works. Every now and then when we go out to eat and Jason gets his coke, I'll take a few sips of it- but just as I said, I could be wrong, and maybe you're not supposed to drink it at all. Good luck!!!

Hey Dub, you know how I feel about the whole Diet Coke thing and if it helps you could possibly find another drink that isn't diet coke if that's the issue, but one other idea if you are worried about Tylenol, oh yeah and the fact that it doesn't work very well, ask your doc about Exedrin. There are a few different kinds that are specific like for migraines, back pain etc and one of the ingredients is caffeine. I don't recall the warning on them, but just make a quick call and ask. That way your not breaking the Diet Coke rule and you're getting the relief that you need. Myabe it's cuz you haven't been hanging out with us that could really be causing the aches. I think little Jett wants to hear the screams of his new cousins.

Ok now lets think about this and be realistic. How many people do you know that have continued to drink caffeine aka Diet Coke and had perfectly healthy babies. In fact I don't know one person whose baby has had problems because of caffeine! I say ya..probably keep it to a minimum, but seriously is taking medicine really better than a good old DC...DIET COKE "the cure all"
