We also inherited this turtle from a family in our ward. They found her outside in the snowy gutter. We originally named her Timmy then a couple days passed and she laid an egg in the bath (where she is temporarily being kept) and we didn't realize what it was. Until, the next day she laid another egg so Brandon grabbed it and buried it in the dirt under the heat lamp. We watched it for a couple days until one of the turtles stepped on it and crack the shell. Unfortunately, we do not have a small Red-Eared Slider to add to our turtle farm, but we did learn that she was not a he but a she. She is quite fiesty to boot!
