Spike is our Solcata tortoise that we have had since December 2003. I gave him to Brandon for Christmas. When we bought him he was about the size of a tennis ball and as you can see he has grown quite a bit. In 15 years he will probably be the size of a basketball. His favorite treats are cantalope and bananas. Believe it or not he has quite a personality. When we let him outside for a walk about in the backyard we have to watch him very carefully because he blends right in to the dirt and somtimes walks halfway down the driveway before we even notice where he has gone.
